What will the apprentice be doing?
The technician will work on all the systems found within the vehicle. The day-to-day work ranges from replacing simple parts through to solving complex faults with the use of diagnostic methods and equipment. The tasks faced are constantly changing, driven by the
introduction of ever more complex technologies and diagnostic techniques
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
· Workshop upkeep /cleaning
· Assisting technicians
· Becoming a fully trained Fiat/Stellantis technician
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive the following training in addition to the Apprenticeship Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Standard Level 3:
- In-house training on all company policies and procedures.
- Fiat/Stellantis training on and off site
- Vehicle security systems training on and off site
- Vehicle Hydraulic suspension fitting
- Vehicle Hydraulic lifting systems
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Permanent position on successful completion of the Apprenticeship as a fully-trained Fiat/Stellantis Master Technician
