About the employer

As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of precision metal pressings, Clamason Industries has developed an enviable reputation within global manufacturing and export markets for helping clients gain competitive advantage through manufacturing optimisation. Offering a full-service solution, from design to development, we support clients across a wide range of business sectors, including automotive, medical and industrial, and take pride in exceeding our customers’ expectations. Problem solving is at the heart of what we do. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team works hard to establish the most efficient and effective way to produce bespoke precision metal components for our customers, to maximise quality whilst minimising cost. The business has changed significantly since it launched in 1947, when the family-owned business in Kingswinford only produced small complex precision pressings for the personal computer market. Identifying that it needed to diversify to grow, the company refocused and invested in larger presses and advanced welding and automation facilities to acquire new customers from more diverse industry sectors, whilst still providing high-quality core-competence services. Today, the business runs two production sites. Our UK manufacturing base is still in the West Midlands, and we’ve acquired an additional manufacturing plant in Nitra, Slovakia which provides distribution efficiencies across Europe. Both plants offer metal presswork, cleaning, assembly and welding. In 2017, both the UK and Slovakia sites were extended, giving the business a combined manufacturing space of 12,000 square meters, with more expansion planned.
