What will the apprentice be doing?
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
· Screen and manage incoming phone calls, ensuring genuine messages are relayed to the correct recipient.
· Take ownership for the Reception area ensuring that it consistently offers a professional and welcoming environment to all visitors.
· Maintain an accurate log of overseas employees visiting site for group reporting purposes.
· Assist in the organisation of meetings and conferences as and when required.
· Assist in the organization of Company social events,ESG and wellness as required.
· Manage the provision of workwear, uniform, and PPE in conjunction with Global EHS Manager. Maintain the booking system for all PPE to ensure all equipment is returned in a timely manner.
· Organise catering and transportation as requested with preferred suppliers, keeping a log of all bookings made for reference in case of enquiries and cost allocation.
· Receive, sort, and distribute all post arriving onsite.
· Administer the cashless till access for The Green Room food service for employees and selected visitors, including management of hospitality cards and credit levels for all new starters. Triage all issues, through liaison with the external management organization.
· Manage the Company loan cycles, including declaration completion/filing/servicing and maintenance. Ensure that a robust booking log is maintained daily so that the location of each bicycle is always know and returned when due.
· Ad-hoc reasonable requests to support the business.
· Support the HR team
· ID badge production for new starters
· Provide overall management of the site noticeboards ensuring that new announcements are posted on the same working day and all postings are current and displayed in a professional, engaging, and orderly manner.
· Take ownership of the Staff Photo Wall. Ensure new starters are included, and leavers removed on a weekly rotation.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The apprentice will be working towards their business administration level 3 qualification
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

The opportunity to start or continue your career in Business Administration. You will be hired on a permanent contract on joining us with commitment to your apprenticeship during your employment.
