What will the apprentice be doing?

·       To assist the School Bursar and Head Teacher with all aspects of the development and effective operation of the finance function within the school

·       Assist with the operating and monitoring of school accounts and budgets, ensuring safe handling of cash and reconciliation of transactions

·       Completing administrative work in respect to ordering, invoicing, credit cards, petty cash, payroll and the receipt and distribution of goods and services

·       Support first point of contact for queries by assisting with general office, reception and admin duties as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The role will consist of attending training towards the Level 2 AAT qualification as part of an accountancy apprenticeship each week at Peak Accountancy Training at their Liverpool or Live online classes. 

There is weekly attendance and the apprentice will also be visited in the workplace to enable them to evidence the work they are carrying out as part of their apprenticeship.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Career progression options could include the opportunity to study a Level 3 & 4 accountancy apprenticeship.
