What will the apprentice be doing?

Attending College to gain level 3 Electrical Engineer qualification over a 3 year period.

  • Control panel design.
  • Issuing specification using appropriate software to produce wiring diagrams.
  • Work alongside experienced Electrical Design & controls Engineer within Space Engineering @ our facilities in Pucklechurch.
  • Programming PLC controllers.
  • Specifying & selecting controllers.
  • Liaising with Suppliers and ensuring we receive the best value and quality.
  • Learn different processes.
  • Liaising with the manufacturing design team.
  • Develop control philosophy and control panel design to match requirements for new projects.
  • Improving knowledge of Quality procedures.
  • Fault finding.
  • Final inspection of completed units.
  • Ensuring all work is completed on time and up to a good standard.
