What will the apprentice be doing?
Attending College to gain level 3 Electrical Engineer qualification over a 3 year period.
- Control panel design.
- Issuing specification using appropriate software to produce wiring diagrams.
- Work alongside experienced Electrical Design & controls Engineer within Space Engineering @ our facilities in Pucklechurch.
- Programming PLC controllers.
- Specifying & selecting controllers.
- Liaising with Suppliers and ensuring we receive the best value and quality.
- Learn different processes.
- Liaising with the manufacturing design team.
- Develop control philosophy and control panel design to match requirements for new projects.
- Improving knowledge of Quality procedures.
- Fault finding.
- Final inspection of completed units.
- Ensuring all work is completed on time and up to a good standard.
