What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting management of recycling scheme and waste disposal
  • Stock taking, informing office of orders required and taking deliveries
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Carry out PAT of electrical equipment Maintenance and tracking of assets using spreadsheets and tracking boards
  • Assist in maintaining good levels of cleanliness and health and safety within the warehouse
  • Downloading and uploading photographs into electronic files
  • Cleaning and restoration of furniture, damaged by fire, flood or escape of water

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative at level 2, including Functional Skills if required.

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model, with workplace delivery and some college sessions. You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged
