The Community Services Team is responsible for developing and managing relationships between Dover District Council, the community and external stakeholders. What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To assist the Community Services Team
  • To support the team at community events
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation, good practice and opportunities which are relevant to the service and communicate initiatives to partners in an appropriate way.
  • Produce accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, reports.
  • Maintain records and files, handling confidential information in compliance with the organisations procedures.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the team and across the organisation.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator Standard, this qualification will be delivered once a month, online in the workplace.
