What will the apprentice be doing?
This dynamic role requires you to work primarily in our Stratford venues to support our creative and dynamic and inclusive community arts, health and heritage programmes. You will become part of a team that is responsible for project planning and delivery, programming, marketing, and evaluation. You will work with a range of wonderful volunteers, artists, cultural practitioners and delivery partners.
With Escape Arts no one day is ever the same. We are a small, relaxed creative team but highly driven and always looking for the next exciting opportunity to take the work of the charity forward.
Duties to Include: –
- Supporting and contributing to Escape Arts existing cultural and creative health work, such as, our regular community arts programme, schools, and exhibition development.
- Planning, organising and delivering creative and educational workshops.
- Supporting community events
- Assisting in social media and online marketing activities.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be enrolled onto the Cultural Learning and Participation officer Level 3 apprenticeship. This is delivered by Creative Alliance.
This will involve a programme of seminars
121 sessions with your personal development coach
Assignments and Projects to complete.
During your contracted hours you will be given time to complete the training programme.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Escape Arts have a long standing reputation of working with apprenticeships, many of whom have gone on to work with the organisation. If the right candidate is ready to take on fulltime role this will be considered at the end of the apprenticeship
