What will the apprentice be doing?

As part of a vibrant team, you'll learn to manage caseloads, conduct research & become a genealogy expert. You'll learn:

  • Finding cases from a government published list
  • Contacting contractors to work on cases & preparing quotes
  • Conducting research to find family members, beneficiaries of wills & ancestors
  • Work with solicitors, banks & other professionals to administer paperwork
  • Updating case notes on the software system
  • Answering the telephone, emails & general admin
  • Greeting office visitors 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During your apprenticeship, you will be studying towards your L4 Associate Project Manager Award, delivered by Professional Apprenticeships, who were voted the region’s best training provider and have achieved the highest Ofsted rating.

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering such topics as the basics of project management, budgeting, project planning, working with contractors and so much more.
