What you will do in your working day
- Provide full admin support to the office team, mainly the Electrical Contracts Manager
- Perform data-entry, documentation, printing, and filling duties
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties, projects, and activities as and when required
- Interpersonal skills - building and maintaining relationships
- Liaise with clients and maintain high standards with clients and potential customers
- Undertake and lead projects as and when required
- Review processes autonomously and make suggestions for improvements
- Decision making and exercising judgement
You will listen carefully and evaluate all relevant information and respond to customer needs, creating a positive customer interaction and experience. Importantly you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where jobs are received and processed on a daily basis. There will be an element of decision and problem-solving skills to resolve challenging or complex complaints and is a key point of contact for addressing issues.
The training you will be getting
- The apprentice will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard
- All delivered within the workplace via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus
