We require the candidate to assist in the effective running of the workplace which will involve some administration work as well as customer support.

What will the apprentice be doing?

During the apprenticeship at Soft Surfaces the candidate can expect to carry out the following tasks:

·        Answer phone calls to clients

·        Email clients to provide excellent customer service throughout the enquiry stage

·        Assist sales and operations team via communicating to clients regarding works

·        Process quotations and update log to chase clients regarding their potential works

As a company with years of expertise behind us, we are looking to grow our company and require a candidate who is looking to grow with us. The candidate will receive hands on training and learn how to become independent within the workplace and grow as a part of a team.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be working towards a Customer Service Practitioner, Level 2 Standard. 

We are currently operating a blended learning model with a combination of remote delivery through the use of MS Teams and face to face delivery.
Ixion part of Shaw Trust will also provide functional skills in English and maths qualifications if required.
