What will the apprentice be doing?
- Key role within the Sales and Service Dept. processing customer quotations and orders quickly and accurately
- Team Player flexible approach to tasks given to you
- Research and retrieve technical information and drawings to support creation of customer quotations
- Answering calls, processing orders and following customer instructions from all areas
- Ensuring customer notes and reports are entered onto the company's customer management system
- Liaising with logistics and assist with the Service Dept
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The role of a customer service practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation in any sector. Your core responsibility will be to provide a high quality service to customers which will be delivered from the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customer’s own locality. These may be one-off or routine contacts. You may be the first point of contact. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills in line with company strategy and behaviours as well as product/service knowledge when delivering to your customers. Apprenticeship Course work will be provided by the Tutor remotely, with 1 day per week set aside in the work place for apprenticeship training, at the end of the course a Customer Service Practitioner L2 qualification will be gained.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Once training is completed, should the apprentice have completed satisfactory performance, there will be an opportunity for a full time position.
- Ongoing training will be given.
