What will the apprentice be doing?

Based in Milton Keynes, our client Boxx Comms specialises in Telephony and Internet connectivity solutions for businesses. They are a modest yet highly efficient team who work openly together and trust each other to deliver. They have fun, take pride in their work and like to keep a healthy work-life balance!

Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Learn how to become an effective desk based account manager who can support first-line queries in other aspects of the business. e.g. tech support, billing and provisioning
  • Help to upsell, renew and cross-sell products and services into the existing customer base
  • Support the other account managers with desk-based duties and help to identify potential leads
  • Help to retain customers who might express a wish to transfer away with Boxx Comms competitors
  • Support additionally with some first-line tech queries and provisioning

The majority of the teamwork is predominantly working from home, however, for the Apprentice, in-office work will be required initially and for the most part of the apprenticeship.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will receive the following qualification:

  • IT Technical Salesperson Pathway Level 3,
  • Functional Skills in English and maths (if required).
  • Inhouse, Virtual and flexible delivery model to suit the needs of the Apprentice and Business 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you’ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & Maths Functional Skills Level 2.

Boxx Comms aim to provide opportunities for further employment at the end of this training; subject to successful completion of the course and its objectives.
