What will the apprentice be doing?
Digital marketing
● Support in the maintenance of charity and social enterprise websites; copywriting, using and refreshing images, publishing and updating content
● Assist with the coordination and implementation of the charity’s social media activities, using a variety of media across multiple channels
● Assist in maintaining the digital presence of the charity on social media and other online channels
● Create content for internal and external newsletters and email campaigns
● Assist with the setup of online events
● Support customer communications via social media, websites and incoming emails
Design and print
● Create basic graphics for social media and other digital channels
● Develop design skills to support in the creation of posters, leaflets and other materials
● Proof read and quality check designs prior to print
● Liaise with external designers and printers on projects
Visual media
● Capture images and videos using mobile technology, for use across online and offline materials
● Capture footage and edit video to create short promotional and informational materials
Media & PR
● Support the organisation of events and launches across the charity
● Support the writing, coordination and publication of media releases
Other
● Support the archiving of key media resources
● Work from and maintain marketing plans
● Report on activities as required
● Champion the cause of Recovery Connections, acting as an ambassador for the work the charity does across the North East
● Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Marketing & Communications Lead and other key stakeholders
