Annual wage
£20,000.00
£20,000 (£9.62ph) will be payable until successful achievement of driver qualifications (estimated 3mths). Following this, wage will increase to £21,500 (£10.37ph). After approx. 9 months continuous service, full driver wage will be applicable.

What will the apprentice be doing?
As a Fuels Tanker Driver for WCF Chandlers, you will drive a 4 or 6-wheeler vehicle, doing both bulk deliveries and hose deliveries. Your duties will include;
- Delivering to domestic, commercial and agricultural customers throughout our operating area
- Daily loading of the vehicle following all operational procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
- Carrying out pre-shift vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring that all company policies and procedures as documented in our Driver’s Handbook
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive dedicated training undertaken by our external Training Partner (SP Training), expert training from our in-house accredited Trainer, as well as support and guidance from our Leadership team.
At the end of the program, you will be qualified and competent in all aspects of tanker driving:
- Hold a LGV Category C+E Licence (Successfully passed all aspects of the Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver C+E Apprenticeship)
- Gain CPC & ADR qualifications
- Hold a Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP)
- Understand safety processes & procedures
- Know the importance of good customer service
