Office Administrator/Community Host - Apprenticeship URBAN&CIVIC (MANAGEMENT) LTD
You will be supporting with administration, hosting visitors as well as being part of the set-up team for our new co-working space. We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn new and varied skills – be a strong ‘all-rounder’ with a ‘can do’ approach. An enthusiasm and willingness to work with people will be essential.

Working week
Working hours will be Mon- Fri 9am-5.30pm, 20% of working time to be’ Guided Learning Hours as required by the apprenticeship. There may be a request made for some Saturday/Sunday working.

What will the apprentice be doing?
● Telephone support
● Support in hosting visits to site
● Provide a professional first point of contact for local residents and guests with queries
● Manage the room booking system
● Order/restock supplies
● Maintenance duties including cleaners, catering, security, IT, AV, printers
● Assist with daily health and safety
● Work with the Office and Community Facilities Coordinator to support the running of the community facilities
● Assist the team with any admin tasks
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
IHasco (online) training courses (for compliance and H&S training) will be a mandatory task which employees must complete within their first 3 months of employment with U&C. Additional Learning and Development courses will be offered throughout the year which are in the main optional. Where
attendance/participation is mandatory or deemed useful for development in the role, these may form part of off the job hours.
The apprentice will receive support from an assessor to help them prepare for the End Point Assessment covering:
● Knowledge
● Skills
● Behaviour
As required to meet L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
The apprentice will attend online masterclasses every other week for 1 day (again part of off the job hours)
The apprentice will need to attend Maths & English Level 2 classes (if required).
Qalification achieved: Level 3 Business Administration
