What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be fully supported by the team at Leah Marie to gain knowledge, skills and experience in the role.  In addition you will be supported by Wigan & Leigh College to work towards nationally recognised hairdressing qualifications.

As an Apprentice Hairdresser you will be assisting the team in the following duties:

  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Shampooing
  • Removing colour
  • Blow-drying
  • Assisting Stylists
  • Reception duties
  • Team work to maintain high salon standards

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualification to be achieved:

·        Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing/Barbering).

Curriculum Delivery:

·        Delivered at our Parsons Walk Campus one day per week, alongside in-salon training supported by a dedicated trainer/workplace mentor.

Leah Marie Hairdressing is in the town centre of Hindley. With over 10 years salon experience and fully qualified level 3. All our staff are fully experienced stylist/colourist with an excellent portfolio. We are a small busy team with an excellent client base.
