What will the apprentice be doing?

The role will involve assisting in the customer service and admin activities of the surgery. This will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for patients
  • Answering phones, emails and ensuring they are actioned
  • Book patient appointments
  • Register patients
  • Scan post
  • Photocopying and filing
  • Process prescription requests
  • Call and recall for appointments

  • 1 day per week is allowed for completing tasks and training
