Port Operative Apprenticeship Level 2 A & P FALMOUTH LIMITED

What will the apprentice be doing?

·       Operate Port Operations equipment such as vehicles, Forklifts, Cranes and other associated equipment

·       Operate port operations small craft and workboats for operations within the port

·       Undertake mobilisation taskings for tows to and from the dockyard

·       Undertake training as required for the role

·       Undertake stevedoring and cruise operations

·       Assist with warehousing and storage of goods

Undertake counter pollution response as required

Things to consider

The apprenticeship will involve a mixture of 6—8 week maximum college attendance at Searegs Ltd, Plymouth, over the year, with travel and accommodation provided as required plus on the job training which will include completion of a several additional short courses as well as an end point assessment.
