What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Processing & controlling the production of customer pick notes and invoices
  • Maintaining the warehouse management system 
  • Checking purchase orders and delivery notes and receipting of Goods In stock
  • Liaising with the wider Warehouse operational team
  • Verification of transport  documentation, checking numerical accuracy, and maintaining accurate complete and legible records.  Investigation of discrepancies.
  • Assist with quality control of all reports, files and documentation.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

Training will be completed in the workplace and through online workshops.

Things to consider

The role is mostly desk based but manual handling and full DSE/Workstation assessment will be carried out. Applicants also need to consider travel to site, as it is not in a central location.
