What will the apprentice be doing?
- Pharmacy Technician apprentice will learn how to prepare, dispense and supply patients and health professionals with over-the-counter and prescription medications.
- You will also handle inventory and customer transactions at the pharmacy, under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Pharmacy Technicians also make sure that all the equipment in the pharmacy, including scales, computers and printers is running efficiently.
- You will also maintain a sterile environment, ensuring that pill counting trays, countertops and other medication measuring devices meet health and safety standards.
- Pharmacy Technicians also check and record customer information and perform routine customer service functions with pharmacist supervision
