What will the apprentice be doing?

Duites to include:

  • Learning the basics of accountancy
  • Building up over time & gaining knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Payroll, VAT, learning accountancy software and what is required to produce final accounts.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Assistant accountant level 3

As well as ensuring full competency as an Assistant Accountant, this standard provides the foundation for progression into a number of career paths in the Accounting sector including Audit Trainee, Corporate Recovery Analyst, Credit Controller or Tax Accountant.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The ideal candidate would have the opportunity to become a senior member of the team, and perhaps produce final Statutory accounts and tax computations for review.

We are an accounting practice that specialise in SME Customers up to the Audit Threshold of £10 million t/o. We have our own office based in Stalybridge. We del with all aspects of accountancy, from Sole traders to Ltd companies, including payroll, VAT, and bookkeeping.
