What will the apprentice be doing?

This role will help you learn the skills to become a successful Property Maintenance Operative with a great range of future career options ahead of you within VIVO.

You must be 18 years old or over, and resident in the UK for over 5 years. This is due to security clearance requirements.

As a member of the VIVO team you will be providing great customer service and support to serving members of the armed forces. Tasks and duties will include:

·       Building repairs, such as plastering, tiling, decorating etc.

·       Basic joinery and plumbing (trades to be agreed)

·       Legionella testing and flushing

·       Supporting our supply chain partners

·       Testing and inspections

·       Maintaining accurate repair and maintenance records

You will be completing a level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Standard, and will be given workplace experience to gain practical skills, with guidance and training from an experienced workplace mentor.

Training Provider:

·       Ixion Holdings will provide the Apprenticeship Standard.

·       Ixion Holdings will complete functional skills where necessary.

·       Ixion Holdings will ensure Health & Safety, British Values and Equality & Diversity is embedded throughout the course.
