What will the apprentice be doing?
- Maintain and operate filing and other record systems to meet service needs and work within organisational policies and procedures
- Process post in an effective and timely manner and liaise with Support Services team in relation to this
- To undertake reception duties and act as first point of contact for the service when dealing with clients and workers face to face or over the telephone
- Produce and process all documentation resulting from client enquiries/conversations in an accurate and timely manner and ensure that the information passes to workers responsible for these activities
- Develop and maintain all required skills, including a good working experience of relevant software tools and systems, to facilitate the efficient delivery of work activities
- To prepare and minute agreed meetings as part of role across the service
- Support the work of the Management Team where necessary, thereby enabling the team to improve its capability, to operate efficiently and to maximise its performance
- Organise own work, typically within defined cycles of activity and to clear deadlines
- Understand the theoretical model upon which the Early Break service is based and work within the person-centred approach in relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide the necessary administrative support to organise service events
- Attend monthly Support Service meetings & monthly PDP meetings with Line Manager
- Undertake any other duties as directed by, and negotiated with, the Area Manager/Line Manager
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Business Admin Level 3 Standard
- College attendance is required monthly
