What will the apprentice be doing?
Key responsibilities:
- To deliver high quality flexible administrative support, to meet the operational requirements of the SAST HR Team.
- To perform data inputting and reporting tasks using the Trust’s HR software.
- To produce monthly HR analytics using payroll and other data sources
- With training, administer all new starter paperwork for centrally- appointed staff
- With training, ensure the Trust Single Central register is maintained and accurate
- Help to manage the Trust HR e-mail box
- Support project work to ensure strategic objectives with the SAST People strategy are met.
- Provide administrative support for investigations and disciplinary hearings as required.
- Create and update resources and communications to support HR initiatives and internal communications

Business Administrator Level 3 Standard
With the support of an Assessor, you will demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours required to achieve this Apprenticeship Standard.
You will be supported in achieving Functional Skills Level 2 in math and English, if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Following successful completion of the Apprenticeship, there may be opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis.
