What will the apprentice be doing?

We are looking for a new apprentice to join our busy sales and customer service administration team at this dynamic company selling eco-friendly alternative polythene products to businesses throughout the UK.

Main duties to include: 

  • Communicating by phone and email with customers and suppliers
  • Raising quotes on SAGE/CRM
  • Filing and shredding of confidential documents
  • General administration duties as required 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Standard: Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship.

  • 15 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment.
  • Work-based training with your employer - training will count for at least 20% of an apprentice’s time at work.
  • 10 days Business Professionals training at college - Abingdon or Witney campus.
  • Approximately 12 on-site assessment visits per year.
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English, if required (7 days at college for each).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There may be an opportunity for a full time career in administration on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider

Candidates will be required to complete literacy and numeracy tests, a residency check and an interview with Abingdon & Witney College prior to being accepted onto the apprenticeship.
