What will the apprentice be doing?

The successful candidate will possess good leadership skills, a desire to learn, plan, deliver and evaluate a variety of sports coaching sessions.  They will further enhance the working partnerships already in place and further develop the existing competitions structure.

With previous qualifications in PE (and/or Sport), English and Maths they will utilise these skills to monitor, evaluate and report on the PE and School sport provision across the federation. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will attend both work and College and will achieve a level 4 Standard Sports Coach Apprenticeship qualification.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be able to apply for any suitable job vacancies within the school.
