This is a high street office based role where you will form an essential part supporting the professional accounting team whilst we support you through your AAT qualification. What will the apprentice be doing?

The job includes:

Client bank reconciliations using Xero software

  • Client sales ledger administration (aged receivables) using Xero software.
  • Client purchase ledger administration (aged payables) using Xero software.
  • Client administration.
  • Client accounts preparation to trial balance level.
  • Assistance with client payrolls.
  • Assistance with client VAT returns.
  • Assistance with client company secretarial work.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the full AAT Level 3 qualification.

The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
