What will the apprentice be doing?
- Learn how to set and operate CNC machines safety.
- Learn how to program using Cad or Cam software.
- Learn how to correctly measure and inspect the parts made to specifications supplied.
- Identifying materials and their attributes.
- Identifying cutting tools and understanding how they are used and why.
- Learn about Health and Safety risks within the workplace.
- To undertake CNC and engineering tasks allocated by the Team Leader, which are deemed by them to be within your capabilities.
- To attend West Suffolk College to undertake the apprenticeship qualification
