Accounting Apprentice Aqua Direct

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Apprentice to join our Aqua Direct team on a Level 2, Accountancy Apprenticeship with the opportunity to progress to Level 3. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be provided with ongoing training to support the Accounts team with all necessary activities.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working with the Aqua Direct operational team recording and processing post-delivery   paperwork to prepare outward invoicing and reporting
  • Working with Operations and accounts to set and monitor financial budgets
  • Working with operational teams on processing Invoice payables and recording expenditures
  • Working with Aqua Direct operational teams and South Staffs Water accounts to ensure accurate and precise data recording on all end of month and financial year reporting

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

AAT Level 2, delivered via fortnightly Tutor led group workshops (live, virtual 6 hour sessions) and bi-monthly exams, taken at a local accredited / approved AAT testing centre (location to be confirmed). You will also complete study, assignments and coursework, and a blend of learning and development activities, all, within the workplace.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.
