What will the apprentice be doing?

The Bid & Proposal Apprentice will be trained to:

·Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ)/Selection Questionnaire (SQ) documents

·Project manage the timely delivery of copy and pricing from colleagues

·Support the production and delivery of compliant proposal documents and presentation materials within client-defined timeframes

. Update the library of standard responses

Other responsibilities will include:

·Monitoring bid emails and alerts from commissioners

·Tracking new project/framework opportunities

·Support with arranging bid kick-off meetings and regular progress and review meetings

· Assist with preparing kick-off documents, CV collation, case study identification

. Maintain the bid plan updating it to reflect the current status

·Create and maintain bid documents within the shared drive

·Register and maintain accounts for online tender portals

. Capture and upload client tender clarifications and disseminate the responses to the team

. Liaise with the design team to create images and diagrams

·Support with recording and sharing lessons learned and best practice

·Providing support to the Bid Team as needed

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The programme is designed to be completed in 21 months and 

Our delivery model is monthly-Tutor-led 1-day seminars remotely and these are supported by our Skills Coaches (Assessors) who will spend between 1 to 1 1/2 hours with each apprentice every month, to help embed their learning. 

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, individuals will be eligible for membership in the Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The employer is looking for the Apprentice to transition into a full-time member of staff.
