What will the apprentice be doing?

To understand the Goods in process, including booking of stock onto Access.
To be able to issue materials to production and complete the necessary returns. 
Focus on stock accuracy.
Understand the principles and implement the relevant stock rotation and organisation. 
To be able to investigate and review current warehouse processes. 
To be able to cover shifts when required by the warehouse manager.

To ensure the warehouse is audit ready at all times.
Work with the Stock Controller.

About the employer

Burts' has been operating for 22 years and employs around 350 staff and produces fantastic British potato chips and other premium snacks such as lentil waves and popcorn. Burts started as a small operation in Kingbridge producing two tonnes of potato chips a week. It moved to Roborough in 2008 and currently produces 200 tonnes of potato chips per week. The company is growing fast and has an annual turnover of over 50 million.
