What will the apprentice be doing?

Our Internal Sales team sit at the core of everything we do.

  • They provide a centralised internal sales function directly to our clients, building great relationships with them through regular contact and responsiveness to requests.
  • They provide administrative support to our external sales team and our management team, processing sales orders, purchase orders and other requests to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • They provide project support functions to the sales team and the service delivery teams, by ensuring that all necessary arrangements for successful installations are made – for example by liaising with clients to arrange access, or with third parties for specialist services, or by making travel arrangements, or attending client progress meetings and following up actions.
  • And, as the team most likely to be processing purchase orders, they have great, constructive relationships with our key vendors, getting involved in regular supplier reviews and staying up to date with the technology and commercial offerings from our vendors.
  • They work very closely with our accounts team, making sure that our records of costs and sales are presented correctly for accounts, and working on clearing accounts queries to allow our suppliers to be paid accurately and on time, and our customers to get accurately and timely billing.

This team is the front door of Pacific and, with many of our clients, are the people they deal with most.

With all that to do, you’ll see why we need more great people in the team. It is an opportunity to learn and apply skills to most types of business administration – purchasing, quoting, planning, building supplier, customer, and internal relationships, and working to co-ordinate the efforts of all the other teams in the business that provide our services.
