We are a small, friendly, well established (26 years) Accountancy Practice now based in Eckington. We are a fun loving hard working team, who over the years are proud to have trained apprentices, some who are still with us and others who have progressed to larger firms.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be carrying out a varied range of office administrator tasks, including:
- Greeting clients
- Handling the post
- Updating the filing and archiving system
- Using the CRM system
- Learning how to use AutoEntry and Sage.
Successful completion of these tasks will ensure our goals of smooth running of the business and client satisfaction.
You will also work alongside our wider office team as we work together to achieve our next future project which is to go paperless.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We are committed to progressing our apprentices - we would always encourage them to carry on to Level 4. Historically we have retained 100% of our apprentices after their apprenticeship has ended.
