What will the apprentice be doing?

Will work with an experienced site carpenter who will give guidance on new housing site carpentry works – all works relating to the carpentry on a new house. 
Each day will vary in the tasks you will be asked to do.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices can expect to spend 48 months completing their apprenticeship by working towards an NVQ level 2 in Site Carpentry. They can also expect to spend one day a week at Reading College (day/times TBC), learning new techniques and practising their skills.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completing the apprenticeship there is a strong possibility of a carpentry post.
