What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To greet members, swimmers and guests enthusiastically as they enter, or telephone the club.
  • To guide any arrivals to their designated area in a friendly and welcoming manner and ensuring they are happy with where to go, what to do and what to expect.
  • Introduce prospects / members to the member journey and the benefits of the associated programmes available to them.
  • Assist members / guests in the club, showing them how to use club / gym equipment / booking systems / other processes
  • Complete all documentation fully and accurately. Ensure information added to the systems is correct and free of duplications.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
  • Maths and English Functional Skills (if required) 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
