What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Provide support where necessary to all users
  • Learn about the different projects and where the IT infrastructure would sit
  • Learn to diagnose ICT Problems
  • Learn about the appropriate security policies in respect of ICT related tasks
  • Learn to communicate and understand priority users
  • Learn to apply appropriate testing methodologies to hardware and software
  • Learn to understand and support national users
  • Attend project planning meetings
  • Attend local offices and confidently be able to support and advise with ICT issues
