What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties to include:

  • Offering a support service to all employees and managers.
  • Responding to queries.
  • Reviewing monthly and weekly sickness reports.
  • Maintaining personnel files.
  • Involvement in the internal auditing of the HR Department processes.
  • Arranging training.
  • Supporting the recruitment process including job advertising, progressing applications, arranging job interviews, obtaining employment/personal references etc.
  • Ensuring the onboarding process is delivered.
  • Shadowing the Head of HR to gain a broader exposure to the field of HR.
  • Attendance at seminars/careers fayres or similar.
  • Support communication efforts internally ie company newsletter, updating and maintaining notice boards, attendance at employee forums/project meetings.
  • Any other duties in line with the level of the post.

HR Support Level 3 Standard.
