Apprentice Receptionist/Administrator WHITTLE SURGERY

The successful apprentices will be working across both reception & administration areas within the practice. They will be in contact with patients and members of the practice team at all times. The apprentices will need good communication skills & have the ability to use their own initiative.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The reception duties include welcoming patients, booking appointments, dealing with patient queries, opening post, general office duties and making refreshments.

The administrative duties include, scanning patient communication, contacting patients on behalf of clinicians and other staff members, sending electronic communications, filing and general office duties.

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administration Level 3

Main Learning Objectives – Support a business administrator’s role in the workplace, principles of business administration, managing performance, communication in a business environment, project management, ICT for business.


EPA (End Point Assessment) – Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment.


This Apprenticeship is completed within the workplace.
