    Month one till 3, you will receive £192.40 per week, month 4-12, £273.20 and salary will increase to full rate after successful completion.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

  • Analyse financial data, cost, and profit centres, create financial models for decision support
  • Follow-up for updated project trackers from the Delivery team and cross-check the invoicing completed against work executed 
  • Support in mapping the projected revenue and costs to ensure accurate reporting and prevent revenue leakages for the cost incurred and work executed but not claimed by the the customer
  • Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Work closely with the Accounts to prepare schedules for annual audit
  • Follow-up with vendors for Statement of Accounts and prepare reconciliations

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Level 3 Assistant accountant standard with the Level 3 AAT with day release at Cambridge Regional College.
