What will the apprentice be doing?
Delivering a safe and secure, cloud powered EdTech solution to 3-19 education providers, delivering access to applications and data on any web enabled device.
Improving academic collaboration, encouraging children to take ownership of their own learning, facilitating personalisation and placing inclusivity and accessibility at the heart of the classroom.
Your duties will be based around resolving system user enquires and faults including:
- Responding to Helpdesk requests - logging and tracking calls
- Hardware and software repairs
- Installation of hardware and software
- Assembling and disassembling computers, laptops and desktops
- Carrying out network documentation and reporting
- Assisting with sourcing spare parts and replacement equipment
- Assisting the Technical team with maintenance tasks and installs
- Answering customer queries
- Adhering to Health and Safety Guidelines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On completion, the Apprentice will be awarded the Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship. This standard aligns with the following professional recognition: RITTech.
You will be appointed a skills trainer who will meet with you remotely every 6-8 weeks for reviews and support with your Summative Portfolio work.
