What will the apprentice be doing?

  • You would start working as part of a team in a busy environment assembling and configuring office printing equipment based primarily in our workshop. Testing and wrapping, ready for installation.
  • To ensure all devices are signed off and have the correct configuration / peripherals and accessories and that all devices meet with quality control checks after setup
  • Perform workshop repairs and refurbishments of MFD’s and make ready to return to the field.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards the Level 3 Digital Support Technician Standard, this will be delivered through blended learning, some in person and some remote training and reviews.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing in-house training as well as relevant manufacturer training, with the prospect within the job role to train to become a field service engineer maintaining and servicing the equipment we supply.

Things to consider
