This role is a shared Digital Marketing Level 3 apprenticeship based at and contracted by Nescot. The apprentice will spend 2 days per week working for ALPS & ALPHI (The Association of Learning Providers in Surrey and Hampshire) and 3 days for the Nescot Marketing Team.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Under the guidance of the Marketing team, the Nescot Digital Marketing Apprentice will be expected to develop and implement marketing tactics to support student recruitment and other business goals.
  • The Apprentice will support all activities of the team including digital marketing, design for digital and print, market research, events and communications.
  • The apprentice will be expected to develop increasing familiarity with software / platforms used in the department including the CRM, website, social media and advertising platforms and design packages.
  • The Apprentice will develop their knowledge of apprenticeships and work-based learning including relevant updates and changes issued by the Department of Education.
  • The Apprentice will then use this knowledge to carry out delegated tasks and proactively devise, propose and implement marketing and communication activities.

- Strong interest in the social media and online platforms, in particular with awareness and enthusiasm for digital communication and marketing. - Evidence of utilisation of digital marketing and/or communication techniques in previous paid role, work experience or voluntary capacity. - Educated to at least Level 3 standard, with GCSE Grade C / 4 or equivalent in English and Maths. - Confident self-starter, able to proactively identify tasks and process improvements. - Attention to detail and ability to complete projects to agreed deadlines. - Commitment to self-development and to completing the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship programme.
