What will the apprentice be doing?

  • A variety of administration tasks such as managing emails, diary management, writing up meeting notes
  • Providing polite, professional reception cover, answering phone calls, taking accurate messages or transferring to the right person.
  • Process customer orders, taking payment and booking them onto available courses.
  • Placing orders for stationery
  • Event Management - booking venues, send invites and responsible for set up and smooth running
  • Editing videos and preparing marketing material

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.
As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.

Our offices are based in Belper, so a driving license is preferred but we are accessible by public transport from certain location.
