What will the apprentice be doing?

  • 1st line technical helpdesk support for all ETL site computer users.
  • Technical support of operating systems
  • System builds – PC’s and laptops
  • Configuration of Smartphones
  • Installation of I.T. equipment such as PC’s and printers.
  • User creation and Permissions management for data access
  • Permission creation and troubleshooting on the ETL door system
  • Support of senior IT Personnel with a variety of IT tasks.
  • 5S activities
  • Any other tasks which may arise.

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Apprentice and Training Partnership, delivered through combined remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completion of the L3 Information Communications Technician standard.
