What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting other Technicians with vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Shadowing a mentor for a variety of tasks;
  • Maintaining repair and service records
  • Keeping the garage clean and tidy.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be completing the Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship, attending Canterbury College one day a week for your workshop. 

Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2 if required.
