What will the apprentice be doing?

Vehicle planning

1.     Lease fleet management:

-       liaise with Vue monitor system, over PO’s

-       liaise with field-based staff re fleet vehicle allocation, maintenance and return.

2.     Company owned vehicles management:

-       accept vehicles into fleet

-       liaise with field staff re owned vehicle allocation, maintenance and return.

3.     Liaise with field staff re:

-       maintenance and MOT requirements.

-       Accidents and repairs

-       To assist with Driving licence management

-       To assist with Fleetcheck administration

Planning Support

1.     Support manager in the management of planned maintenance activities.

2.     Liaise with the workshop to ensure planned work is completed on schedule.

3.     Book in work and raise work orders.

4.     Issue commissioning checklists, risk assessments and methods statements.

5.     Act as point of contact between the service desk, sales, workshop and warehouse.

6.     Maintain work records.

7.     Assist in the preparation of data for management reports.

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administration Level 3

Training will be work based by the training provider and provided monthly via Face to Face and/or Online all at the work place.

The company will also provide specific training related to the duites of the role.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The job is intended to be permanent following successful completion of the apprenticeship. Potential career opportunities across the group are, Account Management, Business Development and Administration. The company will monitor the progress and provide support and guidance for all opportunities and help the candidate move into their chosen area.
