What will the apprentice be doing?
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- To contribute to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the College
- Ensure the responsibilities of the post are carried out in a way that reflects the standards, vision and values of the college
Deliver on key performance indicators across the College, aiming to deliver continuous improvement - Promote the College with employers, sector bodies, schools and the local community, developing effective partnerships with employers, the funding agencies and other representative bodies
- To proactively promote Safeguarding practice, EDI, Health and Safety and the well-being of all our students and staff
- To complete and remain up to date with Mandatory Training
- To participate in the College Professional Development and Review (PDR) Scheme
Duties and responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support in relation to all quality improvement process for the quality improvement team and curriculum
- To support the delivery of reporting on teaching and learning including the presentation of data on a termly, end of year and point of need basis
- To support with the administration of teaching and learning standardisation process, logging, and tracking of information and keeping manager informed of key deadlines
- To provide administrative support for the co-ordination of the college PGCE mentoring programme, liaising with mentors, managers, and key stakeholders to ensure new teachers are effectively supported within curriculum
- To provide support with the tracking, monitoring and administration associated with the deployment of surveys and relevant feedback mechanisms to key stakeholders
- To work with quality teams and support curriculum teams to implement activities in accordance with the College quality calendar and quality processes
- To schedule and take minutes of meetings as required
- To monitor and update the relevant quality improvement pages on the SharePoint areas
- To maintain a confidential approach to work within a management environment
