What will the apprentice be doing?

Within this exciting role your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Learning and applying carpentry skills on-site
  • Working alongside other trades to gain an understanding of all aspects of building and to develop healthy working relationships
  • Learning to work as a team and developing your communication on-site
  • Understanding on-site health and safety and applying your carpentry skills in respect to the regulations you learn
  • Understanding the correct attitude and behaviour in the workplace

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Within this role you will complete the Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship
  • The training will take place at North Hertfordshire College
  • The training will take place once a week or once a fortnight
