What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties will include:
Good levels of competency in literacy and numeracy.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will take place at Brookside Academy once a week in connection with Strode College.
If you do not already hold an English and Maths qualification at a GCSE grade 4 or equivalent, training will be provided in order for you to achieve your Level 2 functional skill in both subjects. Embedded within the apprenticeship we also offer a Level 3 diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, the knowledge for this will be delivered weekly during your taught sessions at Brookside Academy.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once completed this apprenticeship you will hold a full level 3 teaching assistant's qualification, which could led to a full time teaching assistants post.
